Professor Dr. Kurt Schwindl
Dr. Kurt Schwindl is owner of the Professorship in Industrial Analytics and Technical Logistics with a focus on process optimization via data analytics and machine learning methods at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt at the Faculty of Business & Engineering. He is programme director of the Business & Engineering Master’s Degree Programme and lectures for the Logistics and Industrial Engineering Course of Studies. He received a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics and Data Sciences from the Institute of Business Informatics at the University of Münster in Germany. His special fields of interest and research are Data Based Process Optimization and Industrial Analytics with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Methods. As a former Senior Operations Research Analyst and a Senior Quality Manager at MAN SE, he is a leading expert on the subject of statistical and qualitative methods for analyzing, modelling and optimization of logistics and production processes and technical industrial systems.
